26 ships carrying petrol and food items to arrive Lagos ports this February


Twenty-six ships with petrol, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports, Lagos this February.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) issued this statement yesterday in its publication, ‘Shipping Position,’ in which it disclosed that the ships will start arriving Lagos ports starting February 14 to 28, 2017.

According to the publication, at least, 7 of the expected ships would berth with petrol,  1 general cargo, 1 bulk sugar, 2 frozen fish, 3 bulk wheat, 1 bulk corn, 1 bulk fertilizer and others are containers.

The NPA noted in its publication that three ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser and petrol. Ten other ships are at the ports discharging bulk wheat, containers, base oil, diesel and petrol.
